Michael Gilpin

Michael Gilpin is currently the founder and only employee at Kitsune Consulting. Based out of Asheville, North Carolina he finds himself in the middle of wanting to spend all his time outside and knowing he needs to work, so he doesn’t have to eat spaghetti every night for dinner. He’s attended many schools, but graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Go Heels! Gilpin has worked in the field for 10 years, holding various positions from wilderness field guide to Business development Director. These different roles postures him to be an expert on understanding programs and the nuances that make each program what it is. So with these things in mind, Michael decided to specialize in working with substance use, addiction, and Dual Dx clients and families.
The three things he enjoys the most about the industry are: collaboration, complex problem solving, and helping people find their voice. His passions include staying active; mountain biking, skateboarding, pickle ball, soccer, tennis, and all things that gets the body moving. His life goals include a wide range of things like not being the main reason why his daughter goes to therapy to teaching his corgi how to roll over.
