We are not therapists. That’s by design. Not Therapy is a one-stop shop wellness concierge for young people transitioning into adulthood.

We are a group of young people who have been through our own transformative mental health journeys, from struggling with anxiety, depression, learning differences, self-harm, substance abuse, and everything in between. We’ve been through wilderness programs, psych wards, and therapeutic boarding schools. We created Not Therapy Coaching to fill a gap in the type of support we needed as teens and young adults ourselves.

We provide relatable, 7-day-a-week support for teens and young adults who feel like therapy just hasn’t been the right fit, hasn’t given them enough support, and for those who are transitioning out of treatment programs back into the real world. When working with us, you can expect a realness you don’t get with most clinical approaches. We’re mentors who have been in their shoes, and we understand the uniquely transformative, but often isolating experience of what it’s like to actually be *in* therapeutic programs.

Our secret sauce is this deeply personal understanding of our clients’ journeys. It enables us to help them set achievable goals, develop personalized coping strategies, and build a support system within their real-world environments. We empower young people to actively participate in their progress, uncover their motivations, boost self-confidence, and create a life they’re passionate about living. We know how to do it because we’ve done it ourselves.
