Jim Holsomback

Jim Holsomback is the Director of Clinical Outreach at McLean Hospital and the Program Director of Triad Adolescent Services. He completed his BA in Psychology at the University of Rochester and graduate work in Child Development at Tufts University. He has presented nationally and internationally to families who struggle with and clinicians who treat children, adolescents, and young adults who have attempted suicide or engage in self-injury and has been awarded by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, DB Recovery Resources and Partners Healthcare for his work and dedication to mental health advocacy, innovation and support. He has a core belief that parents who have kiddos that struggle with mental health are the most underserved population in mental health and that we must actively support parents at risk for or suffering with PTSD, something that requires parent peer support and parent skills. He is the father of 2 adolescents and lives on the north shore of Boston, Massachusetts.
