Elaine Oswald

Elaine Oswald is a NY State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in private practice in NYC. She specializes in the unique concerns of adults who grew up with a sibling with developmental disabilities. Her clients have also included adults whose siblings have a mental illness or addiction. As a sibling to a brother with Down Syndrome, she’s passionate about helping adult sibs connect to their feelings and needs so they can create a life they choose.
Elaine’s approach to psychotherapy is holistic, including the mind, body, spirit, and creativity. She has completed training in trauma and dissociation, as well as Guided Drawing for Healing Trauma®, Hakomi, Core Energetics, and Attachment-Focused EMDR.
