Dr. Norm Thibault

Dr. Norm Thibault is a Founding Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Three Points Center, residential treatment centers exclusive to adopted adolescents. He is in his second term as President of the Board of Directors of the Association for Training and Trauma in the Attachment of Children (ATTACh), an international organization for training clinicians, professionals, and parents in working with attachment and trauma. He is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.

Norm is also a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP). He is a Certified Clinical Trainer of Attachment and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

Norm is the recipient of the 2017 Vilardi Humanitarian Award of the American Adoption Congress and is a former two-term President of the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He also served as a Field Trial Clinician in developing the current DSM, published by the American Psychiatric Association.

Norm has trained extensively with Dr. John Gottman and has recently taught with Dr. Stephen Porges, the founder of Polyvagal Theory.
