Founder of Wired For Addiction® and Wired BioHealth, Dr. Evelyn Higgins is a recognized international expert in the epidemiology of behavioral health & addiction. With 36 years in clinical practice and consulting, Dr Higgins has been nominated for Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Innovators in Healthcare (2021), keynoted the Addiction Studies Institution Conference (2024), participated as a panelist at the International Society of Substance Use Professionals Annual Conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE (2022), delivered a TEDx Talk (2022), and was an Olympic Team Doctor and Torchbearer (1996) among countless other events during her career.

Specializing in epigenetics and neuroscience, her work as a Certified Addictionologist, Diplomate of the American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders, and Diplomate of the American Board of Disability Analysts specializing in pain management, has culminated in the patent-pending biomarker panel and direct services that her team provides to individuals struggling with behavioral wellness challenges.
