I’m a mother who has been forever changed by my daughter’s addiction. Her addiction pushed me to grow and live in my own recovery. A few years ago I became a life coach so I could help other parents with their child’s addiction.
My healing journey lead to an emotionally healthy and beautiful relationship with my daughter whether she was in active addiction or recovery. I was blessed to get to see her blossoming in recovery most of the last 18 months.
On 12/2/21 my daughter relapsed and lost her life to fentanyl. I’m devastated by the loss of my only child, but also more determined than ever to help other parents. My daughter loved the work I do and bravely shared her story on my podcast a few times because she wanted to help other parents too.
I’m not sure what the next chapter of my life will bring but I know I will discover it as I heal myself and provide space and support for other parents to heal too.
