Cancellation Policy
At Other Parents Like Me (OPLM), we understand that circumstances can change.
Our mission is to support parents and caregivers facing challenging times, and that commitment remains even if you decide to cancel your membership. We want the process to be clear, simple, and respectful of your needs.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your membership at any time:
- Log into your OPLM account.
- Go to Account > Subscriptions.
- Click Cancel Membership and confirm in the popup.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email right away.
What Happens After You Cancel
- Your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
- You will not be charged again unless you reactivate your membership.
- No prorated refunds are available for partial months.
After cancellation, you automatically become part of our Freemium Membership, which gives you continued access to:
- Live Speaker Talks
- Expert Panels (live)
- Curated resources, glossary, vetted support directory, and parent stories/blogs
You will no longer have access to:
- Recorded Speaker Talks or Expert Panels
- Peer-led Support Groups
If you’d like to return to the Premium Membership, you can upgrade at any time for $49/month to regain full access.
Refund Policy
- All new members receive 14 days of free access to explore our community and benefits. No payment is charged until day 15.
- No refunds are available after this period or for subsequent renewals.
Account Data Retention
- We keep your account and preferences saved for 12 months after cancellation, in case you decide to return.
- After 12 months, your account data will be deleted or archived according to our privacy policy.
