I am currently living in Westlake Village, Ca. I am one of the few born in California and still residing there. Most of my career centered on running a business, an area that I had a lot of control over. That control did not translate to controlling my family issues. Several years ago, it was time to leave the business and embark on a path that I did not know. I had been in recovery for several years and found it to become a passion. I was lucky enough to be hired by a non profit organization to work with parents of at risk youth. A few years ago I was offered to take a position of Recovery Specialist, supporting adolescents with substance use issues. My clients are identified as dual diagnosis, and I’ve learned a tremendous amount of the mental challenges of adolescents. I also support the parents of these children.
