Mary Bess Pritchett

Mary Bess chose to pursue philanthropic work after many years as a performer, producer, and administrative professional in the entertainment industry. As Student Engagement Manager for The Jed Foundation (JED), Mary Bess aids in the development and facilitation of student engagement opportunities, including the summer Internship program, JED’s annual scholarship program, the Student Voice of Mental Health Awards, and JED’s 2024 youth grant program in partnership with Victoria’s Secret PINK, the PINK with Purpose Project. In her spare time, Mary Bess contributes to the livestream comedy show and horror film screening series “Hoff’s Horrorfest” as a writer, performer, and co-producer. She also produces and hosts a recurring New York City-based charity comedy show called “Generous Laughs,” which fundraises for a different cause with each iteration.
