I am the parent of 2 sons, ages 20 and 22, both of whom are adopted. Although anguishing painful at times, mostly in recent years, with our struggles in addiction and divorce, I am grateful for this journey of growth.
I am not able to pursue this journey without the support of other parents like me. I am hoping to give back even a portion of what I have received in love and support.
In my life, I also value laughter, hiking, bicycling, and swimming. I enjoy reading a variety of genres and exploring new ideas. Experiencing live theater and storytelling are among my joys when there is not a pandemic going on ?.
