I am a musician and music teacher living in Southern California with my wife Jan, 4 horses, and 2 big dogs. I play piano, sing, conduct choirs, write music, and (since Covid) edit music videos. And I teach music to adult students with intellectual disabilities. Our 18yo son Joey has struggled with addiction and mental health issues for several years. He doesn’t live with us anymore but we are still very close. I am walking beside him as I work on my own growth and healing. In August 2021, Joey and I started Safe Home Podcast, for struggling teens and their families finding their healing path.
